Hi, my name is Christy Chong, and I'm a freelance illustrator and designer based in Queens, NY.

 

I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a background in Fine Art and Textiles. My love for these two mediums led me down a career path in the fashion industry as a designer for the last decade. During this time, I've designed for mass market brands in the Missy, Junior, and Kids department, specializing in cut & sew knits and denim styles from concept to production. 

 

What I loved most about working as a fashion designer was the sketching and drawing process, which has led me to pivot into my current line of work as a freelance illustrator and designer.

 

I bring my love for fashion, food, fun colors, feminism, and interiors into my art.

When I'm not drawing, you can find me cooking, sewing, crocheting, or playing with my cat!
